About the Role
Responsibilities for this position include
Provide strategic leadership and establish the agency's overall financial environment.
Ensure all proper controls and systems are in place; enforce or ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial and securities institutions and financial transactions; and ensure there is sufficient capital and financial information for the agency to operate soundly and compliantly.
Position Qualifications
Education:
The individual(s) selected for this position must be a graduate of an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Accounting.
Experience:
Five years of progressively responsible finance and fiscal planning and management, two years of which must be at a supervisory level; progressively responsible experience in budget strategies, development, and analysis. Ability to interpret and comply with established local, state, and federal accounting procedures and systems.
Other: Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
The Housing Authority of Grant County has the discretion to accept any other equivalent combination of education and experience when relevant.
Job Details
Salary: $112,500 - $136,332 annually
Hours: 40hr per week, Monday – Thursday
Benefits Package: Includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; vacation and sick leave, plus PERS retirement and optional deferred compensation plan.
