About the Role
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator provides a wide range of support in the daily operation of the Housing Authority. This includes, but is not limited to; reconcile tenant payment to the ledger, research tenant account issues-missing payments, payments posting for incorrect amounts, etc., timely communication with tenants, HAGC staff members, and outside partners.
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is part of the HAGC Accounting Department and will perform accounts receivable reporting functions and provide backup for the front desk and other Accounting Department staff as needed. This position also assists with a variety of projects and duties as assigned.
Responsibilities for this position include
Monitoring and preparing daily deposits from cash receipts.
Reporting accounts recaivable data on a monthly basis
Monthly rent roll
Assisting with other duties in absense of other accounting staff
Managing public record requests
Maintain file archiving and logging of files
Processing tenant move-outs
Position Qualifications
One to three years of expeience and/or education in general booking functions prefered.
Experience in working with vulnerable or at-risk populations in a social service agency.
High school diploma or G.E.D. is required
Valid WA State driver's license
*Relevant education and training could substitue for work experience.
Job Details
Salary: $3,482 - $4,099 per month
Hours: 40hr per week, Monday – Thursday
Benefits Package: Includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; vacation and sick leave, plus PERS retirement and optional deferred compensation plan.
